Kenya: prove the model before scaling East Africa
A regional horizon is valuable, but the first market still needs its own customer, economics and operating proof.
10Use Kenya as a market, not a shortcut
Kenya's connectivity and professional channels make it a credible starting point. Yet customer behaviour, compliance and distribution must work locally before the same model can be repeated elsewhere.
Choose the proof you need
A pilot should answer defined questions: will the target customer pay, can the partner replenish, does the product rotate, and does the margin support the route? Without these questions, activity can look like validation.
Scale what is repeatable
Document the account approach, launch range, supply rhythm, reporting and decisions that worked. Regional expansion is stronger when it repeats an operating system, not only a product list.
01Prove Kenya before treating it as a regional platform.
02Give every pilot explicit learning questions.
03Scale the operating routine, not only the range.
